
While enjoying some personal time off on one of my favorite places in the Caribbean, I found out that the visionary Steve Jobs ad passed away with Pancreatic Cancer.

As saddened as I, the tech world, and pretty much every apple user on the face of the planet is to hear of this news, we can only hope that he is in a better place now, and that his pain and suffering are no more.

I offer my sincerest condolences to his family, colleagues, and all those directly affected by his death. As with anything, life still and continues to move on.

Thank you, Steve, for your innovative ideas, radical visions of the future, and for paving the way technology will continue to change mankind, for the better.

Today, I wanted to experiment with some new creative ideas, and with today being the Summer Solstice for the Northern Hemishphere, what better way than to create something for this celebratory occasion. If you are unaware, the summer solstice occurs exactly when the Earth’s semi-axis in a given hemisphere is most inclined towards the sun, at its maximum tilt of 23° 26′ and the day on which the summer solstice occurs is the day of the year with the longest period of daylight. The summer solstice occurs in June in the Northern Hemisphere north of the Tropic of Cancer (23°26′N) and in December in the Southern Hemisphere south of the Tropic of Capricorn (23°26′S).

What makes this interesting design even more fun is that if you hover over the guitar strings, you get the sounds as well: E, A, D, G, B, E. Oh yeah, you can also record your playing session and share the link! Pretty neat stuff!
